Aylin’s Travel is a dream come true for me, Aylin Bener, owner of Aylin’s Woolgatherer. As long as I was immersed in the business of enhancing and advocating the tactile world of fine fiber appreciation, I was dreaming of one day introducing my two cultures to one another at a very personal level. I knew that my mother country of Turkey, so full of art, history, natural beauty, and antiquities, would be a great place for my American friends to visit and see through my eyes. With the expert guidance of my friend Zeren Tabak, who has her own tour agency in Izmir, Turkey, I started to offer my friends and customers very personal and professionally planned tours of Turkey.  Zeren is unparalleled in organizing these programs.

 

She is meticulous about every minute detail, and yet she makes it seem effortless and seamless, and the whole trip becomes a very warm and personal experience. From the moment she greets the group at the airport in Istanbul, to the very end when she waves goodbye, she ensures that each and every member of the group feels like a special guest who’s every comfort and wish are foremost in her mind.
