Testimonials

One of our most valuable information comes from folks who have traveled with Aylin to Turkey in previous tours -- so here's a big "thank you" to everyone who's written to tell us about their experiences.

"Turkey is an ancient and fascinating country -- a mix of ancient ruins, long practiced customs and modern conveniences.  As a knitter/crocheter, I particularly loved the hand-painted tile work that lined the walls and ceilings of the churches, mosques and palaces. My husband George and I enjoyed the friendly Turks, the diverse terrain, the delicious meals and wonderful hotel accommodations. Zeren Tour and Aylin took great care of us and were the perfect hosts".

"I don't think one can flatter oneself as being a World Traveler until he or she visits Turkey to see with one's own eyes how successfully the country has absorbed numerous alien substances, amalgamated them. and through its course of history produced a Melting Pot in that part of the world. Simply by looking at its geographic setting alone, we can see that Turkey is a land-bridge that sits in the center of many civilizations. The country is surrounded by Iraq,Syria, the Mediterranean Sea, Aegean Sea, Greece, Bulgaria, The Russian Black Sea, Armenia, Georgia and Iran. As a national state, its politics, diplomacy and social and cultural bases are necessarily complex because of the tremendous mix of people and languages (using Turkish, Kurdish, Arabic, European). Their beliefs, whether Islamic, secular or Occidental, reflect the lifestyle they choose. Such numerous combinations and mix in just one country is not much found in other parts of the world. Walk in the streets and make friends with the Turkish people, and you are immediately immersed into the exotic current of Turkish culture. Your tour days may be short but the experience gained are unique and unforgettable".

"The Zeren Tour that I took was one of the smaller tours--we covered only three cities, namely, Istanbul, Canakkale and Bursa. However, in each of the stopover city, we had full schedule of excellent programs: to palaces, mosques, museums, public and private art galleries, some of them famous, some of them uniquely known only to Turkish circles. We visited rug factories, silk production and weaving factories which provided on-the-spot exhibitions. In terms of eating, we were catered throughout the trip, and were frequently treated with highly menued lunches in village resorts Turkish garden style, and also 5-star dinners, not only in European/Turkish ambiance but also at Turkish gourmet restaurants with local musicians performing! We had great fun wandering around in Turkish bazaars that sell everything from bread, plastic sundries, live and dead chickens, to super antiques,ceramic arts, colorful costumes and jewelry--you name it! Our veteran Tour Guide guided us thoroughly from A to Z. He even entertained us extra with American jokes. Truly, it was the exceptional Quality Tour that Zeren and Aylin programmed for us that made our experience in Turkey so perfect and delightful. I came home happy and mentally invigorated. Thank you so much for the lovely time!"

Turkey at it’s best;

Our trip to Turkey was a joy at every turn in the road. Upon arriving in Istanbul, our minds were consumed in the Turkish culture, sailing on the Bosporus Sea, the friendships, and the 5 star foods of the land. The behind the scene tours of the pottery, rugs and Kilims were educational, bringing true life to the specialty skills of the Turkish people.

Every day brought a new amazement, might it be a mosque, colorful market places, or the challenge of navigating the narrow cobblestone streets in a tour bus. This was an adventurous outing of not only the city of Istanbul, but the country side tours of Troy, Bursa, and the beautiful landscape itself. This is a highly recommended trip.
