2010 FIBER ARTS ADVENTURE IN TURKEY

Who is coming?
Knitters, crocheters, weavers, spinners, dyers, fiber artists, and also rug collectors, aart enthusiasts, history/archeology buffs and tourists will find plenty of interesting things to see, do and buy on this journey. It will be an adventure of a lifetime which you will want to experience more than once. 
 
 

 
Locations & Activities;
Aylin has arranged another wonderful itinerary in her native land which will take us to different parts of Anatolia to see some of the most beautiful examples of Turkish fiber art. We will be tracing the steps of the disciples and visit some of the world-famous biblical sites and ancient ruins. We will explore local yarn dyeing and rug/kilim weaving cooperatives, museums that feature fine embroideries, oyas and a lot more. We will be sampling great food everywhere we go in different parts of Anatolia and have ample opportunity to buy great treasures to build memories on.
 
Costs;
  • 5 to 9 people: $5,300.00 per person/double occupancy  
  • 10 people and up: $4,500.00 per person/double occupancy
  • Additional $700.00 for single room.
Included in the price;
  • All intercity and between cities transportation;
  • All hotel expenses in all cities visited;
  • All meals (in our hotels and outside) during our trip;
  • All tips at meals and hotels, except if/when you feel like doing something extra;
  • Private ferry tours (Bosphorus);
  • Museum entry fees;
  • Fees for our tour agency and guides;

Excluded from the Price; 

  • Airline ticket to Istanbul and back;
  • Tip to our private tour guide(s) and driver(s) at end of tour (suggested);
  • Alcoholic drinks you may wish to order at meals;
  • All the wonderful souveniers you buy for yourself, your family members and friends.
